Independent Spiritualist Association of America
(religion, spiritualism, and occult)The Independent Spiritualist Association of America (ISA) was founded in 1924 by Amanda Flower, who was also its first President. The ISA “advocates the use of the Holy Bible as a textbook, teaching the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of man … The ISA strives for harmony by tempering every thought or situation with its Declaration of Principles.” The Declaration of Principles is the same as that adopted by the National Spiritualist Association of Churches. The ISA is represented by members in twenty-three states.
