Definition of Wren, Sir Christopher in English: Wren, Sir Christopherproper nounrɛnren (1632–1723), English architect. Following the Fire of London (1666) Wren was responsible for the design of the new St Paul's Cathedral (1675–1711) and many of the city's churches. Other works include the Royal Observatory at Greenwich (1675) and a partial rebuilding of Hampton Court (1689–94).
