A breed of sheep native to Norfolk, characterized by a wiry build, black face and legs, and the presence of horns in both rams and ewes; a sheep of this breed. Frequently attributive Similarly Norfolk Horned.
- The original Norfolk Horn became extinct as a pure breed in the 1970s, but cross-breeding with the Suffolk Horn successfully recreated the breed, which for a time was referred to as the ‘New Norfolk Horn’..
