释义	Rickover, Hyman /ˈrikˌōvər / (1900–1986), US naval officer; born in Russian-controlled Poland; full name Hyman George Rickover. A rear admiral in 1953 and a vice admiral in 1958, he was the individual most responsible for creating the US nuclear-powered navy. The world’s first nuclear-powered submarine, the USS Nautilus, was launched under his direction in 1954. Presidential Medal of Freedom (1980).
