释义 | Aharonov–Bohm/əˌharənɒvˈbəʊm/Physics noun Attributive Designating an effect whereby charged particles travelling round a region containing magnetic flux acquire a phase shift of their wave function proportional to the quantity of linked flux, even if the particles themselves are confined to regions where the magnetic field is negligible. Origin1960s; earliest use found in New Scientist. From the names of Yakir Aharonov (born 1932), Israeli physicist, and David Joseph Bohm, U.S.-born physicist, who predicted the phenomenon in 1959 (Physical Rev. 115 485). |
