释义	Penney, James Cash /ˈpenē / (1875–1971), US businessman. He invested in a small store (the Golden Rule) in Kemmerer, Wyoming, 1902 and by 1913 had developed 34 stores, the beginning of the J. C. Penney department store chain. He was the company’s president 1913–17 and chairman 1917–46.
