释义	Richard Strauss /straʊs / /ʃtraʊs/ (1864–1949), German composer. With the librettist Hugo von Hofmannsthal he produced operas such as Der Rosenkavalier (1911). Often regarded as the last of the 19th-century romantic composers, Strauss is also known for the tone poem Also Sprach Zarathustra (1896).
