Either of two New Zealand coniferous trees of the family Podocarpaceae, both formerly assigned to the same genus, Dacrydium: (a) (originally) the silver pine, Lagarostrobos colensoi (now rare, perhaps obsolete ); (b) (in later use) Halocarpus kirkii.
