- an English public school for boys near Windsor in Berkshire, started in 1440 by King Henry VI. Its students are mainly from rich families, and many of Britain's public figures were educated there. Its former students are known as Old Etonians. There is a strong sense of competition between Eton and Harrow, another boys' public school
- Princes William and Harry were sent to Eton.
