- the character of an English comedy performer. Lily Savage was a man who dressed as a woman (real name Paul O'Grady). The character appeared on television programmes including The Lily Savage Show and Blankety Blank. In the early 2000s Paul O'Grady stopped performing as Lily Savage and began presenting his own radio and TV shows.
