- a Broadway comedy musical play (1950), based on stories by Damon Runyon. It is about some New York criminals and the attempts of a woman in the Salvation Army to convert them to Christianity. The songs in the show include Luck Be A Lady and Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat. Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra appeared in the later film version (1955).
