/ˌhenri ˈmɔːr/
- (1898-1986) an English sculptor with an international reputation. He is best known for his very large sculptures, made from stone, wood or bronze (= a mixture of copper and tin) and with smooth curves. In these, the human figure is meant to be seen as part of the surroundings in which the sculpture is placed. Many of his sculptures are in public places.
