the Office of Communications
- an independent organization in the UK that is responsible to Parliament. It was started in 2003 to control standards in radio and television broadcasting and the telecommunications industry, to see that customers are treated fairly and to encourage new communications networks. Since 2011 it has also been responsible for controlling standards in the postal services industry.
