- a US magazine, published ten times a year, which is one of the most popular in the world. It was started in 1922 by Lila and DeWitt Wallace and is now published in many languages across the world. It originally contained short versions of articles already published, but now has many written by its own journalists. The Reader's Digest Association also sells books, music and other products.
