- (1915-82) a Swedish actor who went to America and appeared in many Hollywood films, including Casablanca (1942). She did not work in the US for some time after she left her husband for the Italian film director Roberto Rossellini, and made many of her later films in Europe. She won Oscars for Gaslight (1944), Anastasia (1956) and Murder on the Orient Express (1974).
