Vita Sackville-West

- (1892-1962) an English writer who published several novels, collections of poetry and other books. She married the writer Harold Nicolson, but also had sexual affairs with women, including Virginia Woolf. The gardens she created around her home at Sissinghurst in Kent are now owned by the National Trust.
