- a train station in west London for trains to and from west and south-west England and Wales. It is a large station, built in the 1850s with a glass and iron roof designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. In 1999 thirty-two people died when two trains crashed outside the station. It also has a station on the London Underground.
