A Latino is someone from a Latin American country. You can also describe anything related to a Spanish-speaking country as Latino.
A Latino — or Latina — is someone from a Latin American country. Latinos come from Mexico, Peru, Panama, Colombia, Brazil, Nicaragua, Cuba, Costa Rica, and other countries south of the United States. This word has a related meaning, which is similar to Hispanic. Anyone or anything from a Spanish-speaking country or culture is also Latino. For example, music by Mexican-Americans is sometimes called Latino music.
