Newsreader Mark Austin has revealed his teenage daughter was "shrinking before our eyes" when she became "dangerously ill" with anorexia and depression.

A couple of newsreaders used the word “musician”, others the historical and more precise “singer-songwriter”; but mainly they stuck to “songwriter”.

“The men escaped, making good with their legs on open ground,” Chris Morris’s newsreader intoned.
