ELEGANT suggests a refined and graceful superiority that is generally associated with luxury and a cultivated taste: elegant furnishings. EXQUISITE suggests an admirable delicacy, finish, or perfection: an exquisite piece of lace. 3. powdered, pulverized. 5. acute.
