ACHIEVEMENT, EXPLOIT, FEAT are terms for a noteworthy act. ACHIEVEMENT connotes final accomplishment of something noteworthy, after much effort and often in spite of obstacles and discouragements: a scientific achievement. EXPLOIT connotes boldness, bravery, and usually ingenuity: the famous exploit of an aviator.
