demi-gorge Fortif.|ˈdɛmɪˌgɔːdʒ| [demi- 5.] That part of the internal polygon from the angle of the curtain to the centre of the bastion (or point where the lines of the two adjacent curtains intersect); forming half of the gorge or entrance of the bastion.
