† diaˈtactic, a. Obs. [ad. Gr. διατακτικός distinguishing, distinctive, f. διατάσσειν to dispose severally, appoint, ordain, f. διά apart + τάσσειν to set in order.] Of or pertaining to order or arrangement, spec. as exercised by the Church; ordaining. Also † diaˈtactical a. in same sense.
