† Achillize, v. Obs. rare. [f. Achill-es, see achillean a. (cf. to hector) + -ize, as in Gr. ποιητίζ-ειν to play the poet, and Eng. tyrannize.] To play Achilles with, to chase as Achilles did the Trojans.
