achlamydeous, a. Bot.|ækləˈmɪdiːəs| [mod. f. Gr. ἀ priv. + χλαµύδ-α cloak + -eous.] Having no floral envelope; destitute of apparent calyx and corolla. Applied to a division of Exogens, named by De Candolle Achlamydeæ.
