Dinaric, a.|dɪˈnærɪk|
[f. Dinara, a mountain in Dalmatia + -ic.]
Denoting a mountain range which extends in a south-easterly direction along the eastern side of the Adriatic, and a race of people inhabiting the coast of the northern Adriatic, characterized by tall stature, a very short head, dark wavy hair, and straight or aquiline nose. Hence as n., a member of this race.
