▪ I. rappee1|ræˈpiː| Also 9 rapee. [ad. F. (tabac) râpé, pa. pple. of râper to rasp (see def.).] A coarse kind of snuff made from the darker and ranker tobacco leaves, and originally obtained by rasping a piece of tobacco. Also † rappee-snuff.
