suggestio falsi|səˈdʒɛstɪəʊ ˈfælsaɪ| Pl. suggestiones falsi. [mod.L., = suggestion of what is false.] A misrepresentation of the truth whereby something incorrect is implied to be true; an indirect lie. Often in contexts with suppressio veri.
