disyntheme Math.|daɪˈsɪnθiːm| [f. di-2 + syntheme.] A system of groups of elements, each of the groups being formed of a certain number of elements, so that each occurs just twice among all the groups. Thus 1 · 2, 2 · 3, 3 · 4, 1 · 4 is a duadic disyntheme—that is, one composed of pairs.
