‖ ductus litterarum|ˈdʌktəs lɪtəˈrɑːrəm| [mod.L., f. L. ductus (see prec.) + litterarum, gen. pl. of littera letter.] The general shape and formation of letters and their combinations in manuscripts, study of which may make possible the restoration of true readings in a corrupt text.
