dumpoked, a. India.|ˈdʌmpəʊkt| [ad. Hind. dampukht, f. Pers. dam breath + pukhteh cooked.] Applied to a steamed dish of boned and stuffed meat. Hence ˈdumpoke, a steamed dish of this kind, especially a boned and stuffed chicken or duck.
