intr. Of corn: To shed the grains, as when over-ripe. trans. To shake or beat out (corn) from the ear.
1641Best Farm. Bks. (Surtees) 50 If they [mowers] shoulde not follow the corne, and goe with the winde, the oates woulde slipe and durze extreamely with the cradles.
