‖ synaphea Anc. Pros.|sɪnəˈfiːə| [late L., ad. Gr. συνάϕεια connexion, f. συναϕής connected, united (cf. prec.).] Continuity of rhythm; maintenance of the same rhythm throughout, esp. in anapæstic verse.
