ecumenism|ˈiːkjuːmɪnɪz(ə)m, ɛ-| [f. Gr. οἰκουµένη (see œcumenic a.) + -ism.] The doctrine, or quality, of universality (esp. of the Christian church). Hence ˈecumenist.
