‖ epizeuxis Rhet.|ɛpɪˈzjuːksɪs| [mod.L., a. Gr. ἐπίζευξις a fastening upon, f. ἐπιζευγνύναι, f. ἐπί upon + ζευγνύναι to yoke.] A figure by which a word is repeated with vehemence or emphasis.
