eradicant, a. and n.|ɪˈrædɪkənt| [ad. L. ērādīcant-em, pr. pple. of ērādīcāre: see eradicate v.] A. adj. = eradicating ppl. a.; spec. applied to a substance intended to eradicate a particular pest, disease, etc. from the environment in which it is applied.
