terceroon rare.|tɜːsəˈruːn| Also 8–9 terceron, 9 tierceroon. [a. Sp. *terceron, f. tercero a third person, f. tercio third: cf. cuarteron, quinteron.] The offspring of a white person and a mulatto, being third in descent from a Negro; = quadroon 1 a: see note there. (Distinguished from quadroon 1 b.)
