ternato-pinnate, a. Bot.|təˌneɪtəʊˈpɪnət| [f. mod.L. ternāt-us ternate (after Greek combining forms in -o) + pinnate.] Applied to a compound leaf having three pinnate divisions proceeding from a common petiole.
