tetradymite Min.|tɪˈtrædɪmaɪt| [a. Ger. tetradymit (W. Haidinger, 1831), f. Gr. τετράδυµος fourfold + -ite1.] Telluride of bismuth, found in pale steel-grey laminæ with a bright metallic lustre. (The name has also been applied to wehrlite.)
