excitant, a. and n.|ˈɛksɪtənt, ɛkˈsaɪtənt| [ad. L. excitant-em, pr. pple. of excitāre: see excite. Cf. Fr. excitant.] A. adj. That rouses, excites, or stimulates; exciting, stimulating. Cf. excite, senses 1, 4, 6.
