exoner, v. Sc.|ɛgˈzəʊnə(r)| [ad. Fr. exonér-er, ad. L. exonerāre: see exonerate v.] = exonerate in various senses: To relieve from a burden; to free from responsibility, liability, or blame. Now only in Sc. Law.
