† extraduce, a. Obs. rare. [L. ex trāduce, ex out of + trāduce, abl. of trādux vine-layer, f. trā- (trans) across + dūc-ĕre to lead.] lit. From or after the fashion of a layer; hence, derived as from a parent stock.
