Fallot|ˈfæləʊ| [Name of Étienne Louis Arthur Fallot (1850–1911), French physician.] Fallot's tetralogy, a form of congenital heart disease in which four abnormalities occur together, freq. accompanied by cyanosis. The condition had been previously described by a number of writers before Fallot published his description in 1888.
