tincalconite Min.|tɪnˈkælkənaɪt| [f. tincal + Gr. κον-ία powder + -ite1.] A hydrated basic borate of sodium, Na2B4O5(OH)4.3H2O, occurring as a fine white powder with rhombohedral symmetry and formed by the dehydration of borax.
