Olof Torén (1718–53), chaplain to the Swedish East India Company + -ia1.] An annual herb of the genus of this name, belonging to the family Scrophulariaceæ, native to sub-tropical or tropical Africa and Asia, and bearing racemes of yellow, blue, or purple flowers.
