† foolage, a. and n. Obs. Also 6 Sc. fulage, -ege. [a. OF. folage adj. and n. (repr. popular L. types *follāticus, -um), f. fol fool. The 17th c. n. may be a new formation on fool + -age.] A. adj. Sc. Foolish. Hence foolageness.
