forelooper, foreloper S. Afr.|fɔəˈluːpə(r), -ˈləʊpə(r)| [ad. Du. voorlooper, f. voor- fore- + looper runner, f. loopen to run.] A boy who walks with the foremost pair of a team of oxen, in order to guide them. Hence foreˈloop v. intr., to do the work of a forelooper.
