aggeration|ædʒəˈreɪʃən| [ad. L. aggerātiōn-em n. of action f. aggerā-re: see prec.] A heaping up; the raising of a heap. In Archæol. the supposed raising of a mound, as an inclined plane for the elevation and erection of standing or elevated stones, such as those of Stonehenge, etc.
