† tricotee, n. Obs. Also 7 trick-a-tee, 8 tricotez. [a. F. tricotets, also tricotée (Lamonnoye in Littré), f. tricoter to dance in a lively manner: origin uncertain.] A lively kind of old dance. Hence † tricotee v. (with it), to dance this. Obs.
