‖ fugato, adv., a. (and n.) Music.|fuˈgato| [It. fugato fugued, f. fuga fugue.] A. adv. In the fugue style, but not in strict fugue form. B. As n., music composed in this style (Stainer & Barrett 1876). Also attrib. or as adj.
